Really love what you're able to do with your voice, and the humour you can put behind it.
How well is your American accent? Or how strong is your english accent while speaking normally?

Eddache responds:

What kind of American or English accent are you after? I'm naturally British.

I think... now this is just my opinion.. I could be entirely wrong who knows!

but I think like.. a lot of your voices sound the same, like.. we can all tell that they're you.
Try (if possible) to REALLY change it up a notch.
Don't get me wrong, I thought the quality was great, and some of the little skits were fun. But yeah.. hmm.. I can't really convey what I'm trying to get across -.-

I'll be keeping an eye on you though ;D

sweet21 responds:

Yeah I get what you mean. I really should have some sort of script lying around....Well if anything at least you get slight variations right?

Fantastic

So I've listened to this a few times over the past few weeks.
And I must say, it's because it continues to pull me back. It sounds awesome.
You've done a fantastic job with this. Setting the scene and the mood. I can picture it all in my head.
Has anyone come to you to animate this yet? It should be. I can see it all so well.
My only nit pick is the Australian's voice, since like.. I live in Australia. Haha we don't actually have an accent like Crocodile Dundey.
Anyway, I'd be keen to hear a part two.

SeiyruRenaih responds:

Haha, sorry about the terrible impression! I had to at least have 3 different voices in there and it just so happens that voice was one of them. You don't even want to hear my elderly British woman impression.

And as I've said in other reviews, if someone wants to animate it, feel free!

Yes

Just.. YES
I love this track man.. Just love it.
I was never really a fan of dubstep at first.. only because it was so slow and just boorrinnngg (to me at least).
Then I found some stuff I enjoyed.. or am beginning to enjoy, exhibit A right here.
Just freaking awesome man. I really do love it. It's a great pace, not too slow that it bores me, but not too quick to delve into DnB
Nick work

YouriX responds:

The same here man! i never really liked dubstep when it first came out. But after people started to tinker with it and started to mix other sounds to it. I started to like it myself. But i usually do it in DnB style thus DrumStep.

Also thanx for the review!

Daaammmnnn

I've been monitoring the newgrounds community for a while and I have not come across you before Seymour, makes me... makes me a little sad..

ANYWAY That aside I think this is a pretty good Demo real, I could really use your talent and ability with some of my animations. But uh.. talk more later?

PM-Seymour responds:

Sure, and thank you :)

Atmospheric

LOVING the atmosphere of this song. The beginning just sets such an amazing mood, destruction and debris riddle the land as those few humans run from cover to cover in an attempt to escape. As the camera pans up you see the once busy city nearly gone, the machines nearly completely taken over.

Anyway, aside from my imagination, I do find this to be a fantastic peace, my only quarrel with it is towards the middle I feel the Apocalyptic feel is slightly lost as the mood lightens, but it's your song :P

Nice work

MrMusicalLion responds:

Ah yes, you're right the feeling of the apocalypse is slightly lost, yet it is like the part where the last Hero has his final attempt to save the world from destruction - but then even his efforts are not enough to turn it all around. Thanks for the review! Loving your comments/insight ^_^

Cheers :D

Edit: Lol, fantastic peace? ;) had to mention it, made me chuckle in lieu of the statement that followed it :P

awww

Readin the reviews below have made me all hyped for Mass Effect 3 :(
I WANT IT NOW
and Skyrim as well..

BTW nice track, I'm really digging the feel of this.. I need to go check out your other stuff... If it's similar

Rig responds:

Not all of it is. :P

There's a reason...

...I said you were my idol Jazza, and you seem to prove this time and time again.
A well done to the both of you, it's a wonderful piece of music here, with a very different feel that I'm used to but that I really enjoy.
I hope to hear more from this Matt Westwood, and even more from the both of you together, fabulous combination of instruments.

Jazza responds:

why thank you good sir!

Awesome

Dude you are so right!
Though I myself haven't played MP2 yet (getting the first three soon) I can feel the... ummm... Metroid Primeness in it.. I can see it now... *stares into distance*
Anywho though it oes get a bit repetitive at like 1:30 ish area
But great work nonetheless

KroweMusic responds:

Yeah that was a bit intentional. Its a boss battle song. I didn't want to take anything away from the song as it progressed. I only wanted to add on. Thanks for the review!

Great Balance

I don't tend to write music reviews but this was pretty good in my opinion.
It had a great balance, instrumental wise and musically (if you get me).
It was nothing to heavy but just enough that someone could listen to this on a daily basis.
Great work and keep it up :)

CandySoup responds:

Thanks Daicos, your review is appreciated.
