I loved Monster Hunter Tri
Oh so much.. Like no one has any idea. I love boss fights, and monster hunter is a game full of boss fights, it was a dream come true.... <3

This quest was a bitch if you didn't get the right Felyne ability before heading off, or no friends or traps to help.

Loved the loading screen bit, so hilariously true, and the, fuck what's it call Nanabra? Or something along those lines.

In all seriousness people need to GET OVER sticks.
I mean it like this.
Down below Acustic complains about sticks. That they're too simple too generic bla bla, same thing all the time etc etc..
1. This is an RHG fight. Which is a trend/competition on Fluidanims. Of course it's the same thing as ANY OTHER RHG FIGHT because THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT. They're gladiators fighting it out! TO SEE WHO IS BETTER! And you know who wins? the one with the better ANIMATION. Seriously.
2. Just because it is number one for the day doesn't mean anything to the ENTIRETY of Newgrounds. It just means that today, on this day, the people that were on, just thought that this deserved number 1. Doesn't mean they think it's better than like Tarboy or There She Is!.
3. These aren't as simple as people might think. Sure they're just simple brush strokes. But to get that fluidity, the combo's, well if you think it's so simple you do it! Simple right? It does take quite a bit of practice to get a good level of understanding with it.
Take Terkoiz for example. He does stick figure fights. But they're not just stick figure fights anymore, they're more than that. They can take just as much time and effort as any other freaking animation, if not more with all the effects you want to put in.

So suck it up people. Seriously.

[Breaking Rust]

Inspirational

That's the word that comes to mind when I finish watching this.
Rarely do I feel like I have the need to write a review for an animation, and even then it's need to be of pretty high quality, and honestly, this is just it.
Let's go with what everyone notices first. The Music. Well that music in itself is inspirational. The song send such a great message, if you can just relax and sit back, listen to it.
The animation. Well as stated above, this is just such an amazing quality. I mean, the effects really had it for me, they were just so awesome and amazing!! In all seriousness.. this makes me angry.. because I am just so lazy with my own work.
The story. Now see I think this is the most interesting part of this animation, the lack of story. This is another great aspect of it, if it had a story we would've had to pay that much more attention, you would've had to develop the characters some more, all in all it looks like more work. Without the story the audience can relax and just enjoy the spectacle that is "Breaking Rust".

do I feel the need to comment/review an animation here unless it is of top notch quality, and you my friend, you're fluidity, drawing style and such a simple yet compelling little story made me want to review this animation.
I do hope to see more from you in days/weeks/months or years to come.

P.S. The kid reminded me of Simon from Gurren Lagann a bit.
